Job summary

Ranger Environmental Services, LLC in Birmingham, AL is seeking a CDL Driver to join our local fleet. You will transport and responsibly dispose of waste, follow safety rules, and maintain logs; travel on assigned route with potential hotel stays.

This is a full-time position with competitive hourly pay ($20–$30) and benefits after a 90-day probationary period, including health, dental and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A/B CDL required or by endorsement
• Hazmat & Tanker endorsements preferred
• 3 years of driving experience preferred
• Roll-off equipment handling experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Transport and dispose of waste material per policy and ensure compliance with safety procedures
• Pack, transport and properly dispose of waste on assigned route
• Travel to locations on the assigned route; local travel with hotel/per diem as arranged
• Maintain equipment and electronic driving logs per company guidelines and regulations

Job Description

• Ability to work flexible schedule
• Must be able to drive manual shift
• Traveling to locations on your assigned route, you will be responsible for packing, transporting and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures.
• Local travel is required where hotel/per diem is provided

Job Requirements

• Must have a valid Class A/B CDL
• Hazmat & Tanker endorsements preferred
• Roll off experience preferred
• 1 year of recent experience with Pneumatic Tankers preferred
• Maintain equipment according to company guidelines
• Maintain electronic driving logs
• Drive safely and operate in accordance with all local, state, federal laws as relates to motor carrier safety regulations
• Clean MVR and DOT drug screen are required
• Schedule flexibility
