Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York is hiring a CDL Driver at the BAIC location (300 East 66th Street). The role supports the safe and timely transport of patients, staff, supplies, and equipment across MSK campuses.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 11:30 am to 7:30 pm. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Reports to the Assistant Manager, Transportation.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement
• Current Medical Examiner’s Certification
• Defensive Driving certification preferred or willingness to complete training
• Ability to follow safety procedures, schedules, and written instructions

Responsibilities

• Transport patients, staff, supplies, equipment, specimens, and materials between MSK locations
• Pick up and return MSK vehicles from designated areas, including off-site parking locations in Manhattan
• Greet passengers respectfully and assist patients and families with directions as needed
• Track trips using a transport application and complete scheduled pick-up and drop-off routes
• Assist with wheelchair transport when required
• Clean and sanitize vehicle high-touch areas during the shift
• Inspect vehicles before use to ensure safety and DOT compliance
