Sunland Asphalt is seeking a CDL Driver to join our team working on asphalt projects. The role involves operating trucks and paving equipment, performing general labor as needed, and ensuring compliance with all DOT and safety regulations.

The position requires a valid Class A CDL, English proficiency, and the ability to work at construction sites with travel to multiple jobsites. Sunland emphasizes safety, teamwork, and community involvement within a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience preferred.
• Must meet FMCSA English proficiency requirements and be able to read/speak English, understand highway signs, and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment and vehicles to apply asphalt products according to job specifications.
• Ensure vehicle is road-worthy and coordinate with mechanics for repairs.
• Comply with DOT and all state/local regulations; log driving hours as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site and participate in safety meetings.
• Serve as a front-line company representative delivering excellent service to customers.
