Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL or CLP before employment.
• Meet DOT regulations under section 391 FMC.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
• Comfortable sitting for long periods and climbing in/out of trucks.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer units, including doubles and straight trucks.
• Perform safety inspections before and after trips.
• Hook/unhook trailers and convert dollies.
• Maintain logs and complete required documentation.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate delays or issues.
• Ensure compliance with hazardous material regulations.
• Provide customer service externally and internally.
• Perform freight handling using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Tire chaining and other duties as needed.
• Adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies.
