Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold Class A CDL or commercial learning permit.
• Clean MVR on file.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and basic math skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift approximately 100 pounds and perform related tasks.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and straight trucks.
• Perform safety inspections before and after trips.
• Hook/unhook trailers and maintain logs and documentation.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate effectively.
• Ensure compliance with hazardous material regulations and company policies.
• Provide customer service and perform freight handling using motorized and manual equipment.
• Perform tire chaining and other duties as needed.
