Job summary

thyssenkrupp Supply Chain Services in Toledo, OH seeks a delivery technician responsible for timely product deliveries, loading/unloading, and keeping trucks safe. CDL required; you will perform inspections, secure loads, and complete paperwork.

You will operate overhead cranes and forklifts, assist with lean/quality activities, and report issues. Benefits include medical, 401(k), paid time off; this is a safety-sensitive role with pre-employment drug testing.

Qualifications

• Requires CDL license (A/B) and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Experience in loading/unloading and securing shipments.
• Good communication and paperwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product and proper paperwork to customers in a courteous, timely manner.
• Inspect truck and load before, during, and after delivery.
• Load and unload goods; ensure proper securing and weight limits.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts as needed.
• Complete required daily logs and delivery documentation.
• Provide feedback on delivery issues to supervision.

Job SummaryProvide timely delivery of product to our customers. Represent ThyssenKrupp Materials, NA in a positive manner by providing customers with quick, precise, helpful, courteous and professional delivery service. Ensure truck is in proper working order. Perform various duties as required.Job DescriptionKey Accountabilities:Radio Frequency Gun usageVerify that correct items are loaded on the truck for delivery.Perform periodic inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure that load is properly fastened down and is secure.Assist in loading and unloading of trucks. Ensure truck is properly secured and not overweight.Ensure that material is properly protected from the outdoor elements.Deliver product and proper paperwork to our customers in a courteous and timely manner.Ensure that any debris caused by the loading/unloading of truck is cleaned up.Maintain trucks overall service and perform required inspections.Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.
