Job summary

MKC - Mid Kansas Coop in Walton, KS seeks a CDL Driver 1 to operate tractor-trailers or heavy trucks, hauling agricultural products and assisting in loading at multiple locations. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Ability to obtain knowledge of OSHA, state, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Ability to inspect and maintain trucks.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
• MSDS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer or truck per work orders.
• Operate and maintain delivery equipment; report maintenance needs.
• Mix agronomy products per quality standards.
• Report inventory needs to supervisor.
• Inform Agronomy Operations Manager of new business opportunities.
• Greet customers, resolve problems, and ensure safe product handling.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance of yourself and equipment.
• Complete special projects as assigned by Agronomy Operations Manager.
• Provide outstanding customer service to generate repeat business.
