Job summary

Carroll County Coop – Wytheville Branch is seeking a CDL Driver Applicator/Warehouse to prepare and apply agronomy products on customers’ fields, including fertilizer, crop protectants, lime and other treatments. This role also assists with warehouse and facility operations and represents the Coop professionally to customers.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years CDL experience, knowledge of the agricultural industry, and an outgoing, safety‑minded approach. Pay is $17.00–$23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ years CDL experience is required or preferred.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural products and practices.
• Outgoing, friendly personality with integrity and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare custom application of fertilizers, crop protectants, and lime according to work orders.
• Operate bulk spreading and ensure coverage and proper spread patterns.
• Receive, unload, and verify merchandise deliveries using appropriate equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and keep maintenance records.
• Adhere to safety rules and Coop/policy regulations; comply with government rules.
• May drive delivery routes for feed and farm supplies as needed.
