Job summary

AHF Products in Crossville, TN is seeking a CDL Local Driver for 1st shift to operate a Class 8 tractor/trailer and deliver ceramic tile and other products. You will follow delivery schedules and safety directives while maintaining logs and paperwork.

This role requires a valid Class A CDL, clean driving record, 2 years of over-the-road or local experience, and ability to pass pre-employment screenings. We offer medical, dental, vision, and 401K benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and have a clean driving record.
• Two (2) years of over-the-road and/or local Class 8 experience or completion of accredited driving school with one year of experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with others.
• Must be available for overtime and additional shifts as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, physical and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 8 tractor/trailer to deliver tile and other products.
• Adhere to delivery schedules and all safety directives.
• Complete thorough safety checks and ensure load securement.
• Submit ELD logs and government paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain housekeeping and compliance with PPE guidelines.
• Report issues to Supervisor and document any problems with vehicle or deliveries.

CDL Local Driver 1st shift

AHF Products has a job opportunity for a CDC Warehandler to be located in Crossville, TN.

JOB DUTIES:

• Operate a Class 8 tractor/trailer and/or truck to deliver ceramic tile and other products.
• Adhere to an assigned delivery schedule, following all delivery requirements.
• Obey all regulatory agency and company safety directives.
• Call Supervisor to work with customers when necessary and report any instances of customer dissatisfaction.
• Complete a thorough safety check on the truck before leaving domicile location to ensure that all delivery materials are firmly secured and all parts of the truck are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Obey all traffic laws and weight limits.
• Call Supervisor and report any problems or irregularities with the truck or deliver.
• Complete and file all ELD logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner.
• Follow safety guidelines and company standards, utilizing PPE as required.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
• Perform any other duties that may be required or assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Class A CDL license and a clean driving record
• Two (2) years of over-the-road and/or local experienceoperatinga Class 8 (80,000 GVW)4tractor/trailer or successful completion of an accredited driving training school combined with one (1) year of over-the-road and/or local driving experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

• Must be available to work overtime as necessary and other shifts as necessary
• Must pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test, physical, and criminal background check

• Frequent climbing, bending, walking/standing 8+ hours a day, squatting, reaching, pushing and pulling tile.
• Frequent lifting 50-100 pounds, either alone or with the assistance of another employee, in conformity with lifting techniques detailed in safety policies and training materials.
