Job summary

QXO is seeking a CDL driver in Sparks, NV to perform touch-freight, load materials, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries. You will pre-inspect trucks, verify loads, and communicate with dispatch while following DOT safety protocols.

The role requires a Class A or B CDL, at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience, and the ability to operate heavy equipment and a manual transmission truck. Outdoor work in all weather is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• CDL Class A or B license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, lifting/moving/carrying products up to 75+ lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, verify load accuracy.
• Notify branch management of potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect site for safe loading/unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with dispatcher for timely deliveries.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures and wear PPE.

What you'll do:

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE

What you'll bring:
