Job summary

QXO is seeking a truck driver to perform touch-freight, inspect and load materials, and coordinate with dispatch for timely deliveries. You will operate with a valid CDL (A or B), handle heavy loads, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Safety and teamwork are essential in this role.

Applicants should have at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience, be 21 or older, and able to work independently while adhering to DOT procedures and PPE requirements.

• Valid CDL Class A or B license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, lifting/moving/carrying products over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, verify load accuracy.
• Notify branch management of potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect site for safe loading/unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with dispatcher for timely delivery.
• Follow DOT and company safety procedures and wear PPE.

What you'll do:

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE

What you'll bring:
