Job summary

Northwest Corp seeks a Class A CDL driver to safely operate heavy vehicle and trailer, transport crane gear, and assist with rigging on job sites. You will work closely with drivers, riggers, signalmen, and crane operators to ensure efficient mobilization and demobilization.

The role requires loading/unloading, ensuring loads are secure, and maintaining ongoing safety and DOT-compliant records. A strong teammate with hands-on skills will thrive in this team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Rigging experience or strong drive to learn.
• Proven experience as a CDL driver (construction/logistics preferred).
• Knowledge of load securement and material handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle and trailer to transport crane equipment, rigging gear, and materials.
• Assist with loading, unloading, staging, and setup of crane and rigging equipment; coordinate with team.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report vehicle or equipment issues promptly.

WhatYou'llDo

VehicleOperation:SafelyoperateaClassAcommercialvehicleandtrailer.Transportcraneequipment,rigginggear,andmaterialstoandfromjobsites.Ensureloadsareproperlysecuredanddeliveredaccuratelyandontime.

Rigging&JobsiteSupport:Assistwithloading,unloading,staging,andsetupofcraneandriggingequipment.Workdirectlywithotherdrivers,riggers,signalmenalongwithcraneoperatorsduringmobilizationanddemobilization.Supportsafe,efficientcraneoperationsthroughteamworkandcommunication.

Inspections&Maintenance:Performpre-tripandpost-tripinspections,identifyandreportvehicleorequipmentissuespromptly,andmaintainvehicleconditionincompliancewithsafetystandards.

Regulations&Compliance:FollowallDOT,federal,state,andlocaltransportationregulations.Maintainaccuratedeliveryrecords,logbooks,anddocumentation.

Communication&CustomerService:Communicateeffectivelywithfieldcrews,logisticsteams,clients,andvendors.RepresentNorthwestCorpprofessionallyatalljobsitesandcustomerlocations.Deliverconsistent,high-qualitycustomerservice.
