Job summary

QXO is seeking a dedicated CDL driver based in Chicopee, MA to join our distribution and installation team. You will operate Class A or B trucks, perform touch-freight tasks, load and inspect materials, and ensure loads are accurate while following DOT safety procedures.

The role requires at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience, willingness to work outdoors in all weather, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.

What You'll Do

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs

What You'll Bring

• Must be 21 years of age or older
