Job summary

Structis is seeking a CDL Driver / Floor Underlayment Installer - Local in Rocky Hill, CT to support gypsum and concrete based products on diverse projects. Responsibilities include delivering supplies, assisting crew, operating equipment like a bobcat, setting up hoses, finishing poured Gypcrete floors, and reading a tape measure.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Basic hand tools and tape measure knowledge.
• Hard-working, reliable, and punctual.
• Ability to travel to multiple project sites and perform physical tasks (up to 80 lbs).
• Experience with concrete/gypsum underlayment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick up or deliver supplies as needed.
• Assist crew members and perform basic equipment operations.
• Set up hoses and move materials for pouring.
• Finish poured Gypcrete floors and manage bagged products.
• Carry supplies onto job sites and support safety routines.

CDL Driver / Floor Underlayment Installer - Local

About You

• Class A CDL
• Must know basic hand tools.
• Must have a basic knowledge of reading a tape measure.
• Hard-working and goal-oriented.
• Reliable and always on time.
• Ability to drive to various project sites.
• Has ability to multi-task.
• Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment as required.
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 80lbs of product repetitively.
• Previous construction experience a plus.
• Previous experience with working on a concrete crew a plus.

Primary Objective

Our CDL Drivers / Installers support the install of gypsum and concrete based products.

• Pick up or deliver supplies as needed.
• Assist other crew members as necessary.
• Use small tools and perform basic equipment repair.
• Operating a bobcat to move sand into the mixer.
• Setting up the hose for pouring and connecting to the mixer.
• Finish the poured Gypcrete floor.
• Breaking open bags of gypcrete and pouring them into a mixer.
• Carrying supplies onto a job site.
