Job summary

QXO is seeking a professional Class A CDL driver to support its growing operations in Florida. You will perform touch-freight tasks, inspect loads, and ensure safe loading/unloading at job sites.

Responsibilities include communicating with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries, complying with DOT safety procedures, and using PPE. Eligible benefits include a 401(k) match, medical/dental/vision, PTO, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL license.
• Minimum 12 months verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, lifting/moving 75 lbs+ as needed.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify load accuracy.
• Notify branch management of hazards onsite.
• Set up job parameters and inspect sites for safe loading/unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with dispatcher for timely deliveries.
• Follow DOT safety procedures and wear PPE.

What you'll do:

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE

What you'll bring:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Class A CDL license in good standing
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Experience operating heavy equipment
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
