Job summary

Southeast Building Supply Interests is seeking a professional Driver to deliver our products safely, on time, and with exemplary customer service. You will operate local routes, unload materials, and maintain accurate records while adhering to DOT and company safety standards.

The role requires a CDL Class A license and at least five years of driving experience, with the ability to pass drug and alcohol tests and meet medical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive local distances to deliver and pick-up goods to and from construction sites.

• Complete the driver vehicle inspection report and inform management of mechanical issues.
• Keep the truck clean and presentable.
• Report road incidents to management and follow accident procedures.
• Follow DOT, state and local traffic laws.
• Plan routes using GPS system and arrive on time.
• Deliver superior customer service and inform management of customer concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive local distances to deliver and pick-up goods to and from construction sites.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CDL Class A driver’s license.
• Minimum of 5 years of driving experience.
• Ability to successfully pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Must have a driving record that meets company standards.
• Ability to pass all applicable health benchmarks and provide a medical certificate, unless exempted.
