Job summary

Sunstate Companies, LLC is seeking a CDL-Class A Driver to handle equipment transport and material deliveries for project sites in North Las Vegas, NV. Daily duties include hauling backhoes, skid steers, loaders, and excavators, as well as picking up aggregates and other materials.

Typical week is 40–50 hours, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays. Must lift up to 90 pounds and work outdoors. Valid CDL-A and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• 36 months experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer position within the last 3 years.
• No more than two moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No serious traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents in the last 10 years.
• No fatality or catastrophic injury outcomes in driving history.

Responsibilities

• Transport equipment daily (backhoe, skid steer, loader, excavator) to project sites.
• Pick up materials (aggregates, broken concrete, soils, dirt) and deliver to job sites.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of equipment and vehicle; adhere to regulations.
• Work 40–50 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Large Construction Company looking for a CDL-Class A Driver to handle equipment transport and material deliveries.

The position consists of performing daily transporting of equipment (backhoe, skid steer, loader, excavator) to various projects, pick up materials (aggregates, broken concrete soils, dirt) and deliver them to job sites.

Typical work week hours 40-50hrs. Monday - Friday, and occasionally Saturdays.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 36 months experience working in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the previous 3 years
• No more than two (2) moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years
• No serious traffic violations or preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last ten (10) years
• No preventable accidents resulting in a fatality or catastrophic injury in driving history (commercial motor vehicle)
• Valid CDL - Class A driver’s license
• Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking, standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 90 pounds
• Frequent exposure to the elements
• Spanish Speaking not required, is a plus
