• Report mechanical issues, equipment damage, and safety concerns to management.
• Maintain trucks in a clean and safe operating condition.
• Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and applicable traffic laws.
• Assist with general job site activities when not actively driving, as needed.

RPM Utilities is seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Class A or Class B Driver to join our growing team. This position is responsible for safely transporting construction materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites while supporting daily utility construction operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience driving commercial vehicles in the construction industry, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial trucks requiring a CDL Class A or Class B license.

Transport construction materials, equipment, aggregate, dirt, and other supplies to and from job sites.

Operate dump trucks, haul trucks, and other commercial vehicles as assigned and qualified.

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.

Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with weight and safety requirements.

Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation.

Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules to support construction operations.

Experience operating dump trucks, haul trucks, or similar commercial vehicles preferred.

Current DOT medical certification required.

Acceptable driving record and ability to meet company and insurance requirements.

Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety requirements.

Ability to safely secure and transport construction materials and equipment.

Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and identify maintenance concerns.

Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Ability to work overtime and weekends as project schedules require.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather and construction site conditions.

Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening.

Physical Requirements

Ability to enter and exit commercial trucks throughout the workday.

Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.

Ability to work in outdoor construction environments with exposure to dust, noise, heat, and cold.
