Job summary

RPM Utilities LLC seeks a dependable CDL Class A or Class B Driver to transport construction materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites, supporting daily utility construction operations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of commercial driving experience, a strong safety focus, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, load securing, and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or Class B license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Experience in construction, utilities, excavation, or hauling preferred.
• Current DOT medical certification required.
• Able to meet driving record and insurance requirements.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial trucks requiring a CDL Class A or Class B license.
• Transport construction materials, equipment, aggregate, dirt, and other supplies to and from job sites.
• Operate dump trucks, haul trucks, and other commercial vehicles as assigned and qualified.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with weight and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules to support construction operations.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed.
• Report mechanical issues, equipment damage, and safety concerns to management.
• Maintain trucks in a clean and safe operating condition.
• Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and applicable traffic laws.
• Assist with general job site activities when not actively driving, as needed.
