Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Deliver building materials to customers or job sites within a 200-mile radius of the home branch, with no overnight stays.
2. Operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations.
3. Perform pre and post-trip inspections.
4. Validate and confirm inventory loaded, compare purchase orders, sign delivery tickets, and confirm addresses.
5. Conduct job site inspections, document existing damages, and note potential hazards.
6. Capture pictures of delivered building products as per company policy.

Requirements

1. Valid Class A or B CDL.
2. Ability to load/unload building products weighing up to 100 lbs.; forklift experience is a plus.
3. Safe driving record with no recent DWI/DUI or hit & run violations.
4. Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations preferred.
5. Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
6. Minimum age of 18; 21 if crossing state lines or transporting hazardous materials.
7. Pass a drug test, possess a current DOT medical certificate, and pass an E-Verify check.
8. Register with FMCSA Clearinghouse before employment.

The position offers a salary range of $21.01 to $26.73 per hour, based on experience and skills. Location: SRS Building Products - Loves Park, IL.
