Job summary

Latham Pool Products, Inc is seeking a CDL Driver in Jane Lew, WV, to securely transport fiberglass pools from the distribution center to job sites. You will join a leading North American pool manufacturer committed to quality and safety.

Responsibilities include loading, securing cargo, following routes, maintaining logs, and ensuring DOT compliance while delivering exceptional customer service to customers and partners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
• A valid Class A CDL Driver’s License and a clean MVR.
• Previous oversize load experience preferred.
• Ability to learn basic repair processes.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Capability to work with pilot drivers when transporting an oversize load.
• Good knowledge of roads.
• Ability to read customer orders and follow safety regulations.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and routinely sit, walk, and stand.

• Ensure load is properly secured.
• Stay on state permitted route and ensure timely deliveries.
• Follow delivery schedule and rest at appropriate times.
• Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered.
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
• Track and report working hours on an Electronic Log System.
• Adhere to company rules and regulations.
• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to weather/road conditions.
• Comply with DOT regulations.
• Make safety a priority at all times.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

As a CDL truck driver for the largest manufacturer of in ground swimming pools in North America, you have the opportunity to make dreams come true by reliably and safely transporting and delivering fiberglass pools and other supplies from the distribution center to pool installation locations! Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
