Job summary

Colonial Group seeks a CDL B driver for Dayforce: Pine Street - Safety & Driver - HNL on Oahu to transport JTB Hawaii guests along designated routes. All operations conform to DOT rules with emphasis on safety and customer service.

The role is full-time with a sign-on bonus; shift hours vary from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., seven days per week, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a Hawaii driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• CDL B or C with air brake and passenger endorsements; able to drive any CDL B/C vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial vehicles transporting JTB Hawaii guests on Oahu routes in a professional manner.
• Follow Federal DOT regulations to ensure safety and compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Dayforce: Pine Street - Safety & Driver - HNL Drivers [Pay Range: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour]

SIGN-ON BONUS (limited time only)

ELIGIBILITY: Newly hired FULL-TIME CDL B Drivers with Passenger endorsement and Air Brakes (does not include rehires, part-time, or on-call employees)

PAY OUT: $1,500.00 (for each eligible new employee)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AVAILABLE UPON HIRE

Primary Responsibilities: Drive commercial vehicles, according to Federal Department of Transportation regulations, transporting JTB Hawaii guests and customers on specific routes throughout the Island of Oahu, in a professional and friendly manner.

Secondary/Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• High school graduate, and required to be at least 21 years of age
• Required to possess a valid Hawaii driver’s license with a totally clean driver abstract
• Required to possess a commercial driver’s license (CDL), B or C, with air brake and passenger endorsements. Must be able to drive any type of commercial vehicle requiring a CDL "B" and/or "C".
• Possess at least one (1) year experience in customer service or hospitality-related experience, preferred.
• Able to frequently communicate with customers over a 2-way radio, cell phone, public address (PA) system and microphone in English and/or Japanese.
• Able to work independently and work cooperatively with others; able to work with employees, business partners, and customers in a professional and positive manner.
• Able to multi-task when vehicle in motion, while communicating with Dispatch over two-way radio.

Working Conditions:

Working Hours

Shift work variable between 5:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m., 7 days/week. Overtime, weekend and holiday work required.

Environmental Conditions

Subject to atmospheric conditions including: an air conditioned office, noise, fumes, vehicle exhaust, dust, and adverse weather conditions.
