If you are a driver seeking to build a career with one of the top building supply distributors nationwide, Gulfeagle has the opportunity for you. Our drivers are responsible for safely operating the most efficient routes to job sites, following all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. They assist in loading, securing, and unloading materials using cranes, conveyors, piggybacks, or by hand. Drivers are the face of our company on job sites, leading, instructing, and supervising others.

Requirements:

• Valid state CDL Class A or B Driver’s License with a clear MVR and DOT record
• Must be 21 years old or older
• Current and valid Medical Certification Card
• Consecutive CDL driving experience in the previous year
• High attention to detail and dexterity in vehicle control
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and climb
• Willingness to climb on rooftops and ensure proper stacking (location-based)
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 100 pounds of material for extended periods
• Ability to climb a 40’ ladder (location-based)
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
• Pass a company-required drug screening; all employees are subject to random drug testing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous material handling experience
• Forklift operation experience
• Crane operation certification
