Job summary

Lansing Building Products is hiring a CDL Driver in Dartmouth, MA, to perform home and job-site deliveries, ensuring on-time service and safe handling of materials. You will also assist in the warehouse and act as Lansing’s front-line representative in customer interactions.

Required CDL B or A with a clean driving record, moffett forklift experience, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and at least one year of driving experience.

Qualifications

• CDL driver with a valid CDL B or A license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with building products is a plus.
• Strong customer service mindset and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers and job sites.
• Split time between deliveries and warehouse duties.
• Operate moffett forklift during deliveries.
• Represent Lansing professionally at all times.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory as needed.

HOME EVERY NIGHT!

CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location).

CDL Driver Responsibilities

• Lives the mission statement
• Acts as a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service
• Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse
• Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries
• Interacts with customers and or crews at job sites
• Provides exceptional service to each Lansing customer...and constantly strive to improve that level of service
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly
• This is a "get-the-job-done" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions not particularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

CDL Driver Qualifications

• CDL B (or A) license is required for this position
• CDL Driver must have a clean driving record
• Have moffett forklift experience
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds
• Experience with building products is very helpful
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude
• At least one year of driving experience
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck
