Job summary

The Hayes County Cooperative is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager in Hayes Center, Nebraska. The role requires a Class B CDL with Tanker, HazMat and Air Brakes endorsements and a clean driving record.

You will lead daily operations, coordinate deliveries, and support customers including farmers and local businesses. Compensation ranges from $58,000 to $70,000 annually with benefits such as health insurance stipend, 401k, PTO, and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Must have Class B CDL with Tanker, HazMat and Air Brakes endorsements.
• Strong communicator with multitasking ability.
• Willing to perform a variety of responsibilities including deliveries and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule fuel, propane, fertilizer, and tire service appointments with local customers.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, including local farmers and agricultural businesses.
• Operate delivery trucks to safely complete customer deliveries.
• Deliver fertilizer and contracted fuel products to farms, businesses, and residences.
• Perform tire repair and routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes.
• Maintain records related to deliveries, service appointments, inventory, and orders.
• Assist with supervising and coordinating employees to meet daily operations.
