Job summary

CEC Companies in Great Falls, MT seeks an Operator with a fundamental understanding of construction to operate a Directional Bore machine. This safety-sensitive role requires willingness to travel up to 80% of the time and perform maintenance, utility digging, and equipment handling.

The candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, following safety policies, and maintaining tools and equipment. DOT regulations compliance and a valid CDL/DOT card are preferred.

Qualifications

• Good verbal communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Valid DOT Health Card.
• Will operate DOT registered vehicles.
• Must comply with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a directional bore machine and other equipment.
• Perform daily maintenance, greasing and oiling.
• Hand dig around utilities when necessary.
• Operate tampers, jackhammers, drills, and saws.
• Load and carry materials for the job.
• Follow company safety policies and practices.
• Report equipment repairs to Foreman or Supervisor.
• Perform light repairs on tools and equipment.
• Assist in hauling equipment to and from job sites.
• Clean up and restore work area and wash equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Travel 80% of the time.
