Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders locally with our well-maintained fleet, ensuring safe and timely deliveries and excellent customer service.

On-site responsibilities include unloading using a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift, and maintaining a clean driving record while working within a growing team that values honesty and putting people first. You’ll be home every night.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience, preferably with building materials, trusses and/or panels.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• A valid CDL license and a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
• Ability to be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites safely and on time using our fleet.
• Meet daily delivery schedules while delivering friendly, professional customer service.
• Unload on site using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place materials as needed.
