Job summary

Carter Lumber Company is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local customer jobsites with a strong focus on safety and timeliness.

You will unload using a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift, ensuring materials are placed precisely where needed and maintaining excellent customer service on every delivery.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• CDL license with an acceptable driving record.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
• Ability to be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites safely and on time.
• Unload materials using dump bed or forklift and place at the customer site.
• Maintain daily delivery schedules and provide friendly customer service.

Description:
As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. While on site, you will unload using dump bed ortruck-mounted forklift to place the customer’s materials right where they need them.

Requirements:

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
