Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Texas is seeking a CDL delivery driver to support home improvement customers. This on-site role requires loading and unloading merchandise, coordinating deliveries, and providing courteous service.

You will plan routes, verify items against invoices, inspect vehicles, and ensure DOT and safety standards are met. Experience with residential deliveries and strong math skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL License required for multi-unit CMV routes.
• Class B CDL License with air brake endorsement required for single-unit CMV routes.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment.
• Ability to pass MVR background check.
• Ability to obtain sales licensure or registration as may be required by law.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic; must be 21+.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Responsibilities

• Delivers merchandise ensuring on-time delivery and excellent customer service.
• Assists customers in locating, selecting, and loading merchandise.
• Communicates stock, specials, warranties, and delivery details to customers.
• Coordinates with truck driver to schedule deliveries and updates status.
• Plans deliveries, prints tickets, and loads products within payload limits.
• Inspects products before loading and verifies quantities against invoices.
• Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery.
• Maintains DOT compliance and performs daily vehicle inspections.
• Uses store equipment (Zebra devices, computers, CCTV) as needed.
• Adheres to safety standards and performs other duties as assigned.
