Job summary

Dexter in Winchester, TN is seeking a dependable CDL Delivery Driver / Production Worker to split time between local deliveries and production tasks. This role offers weekday hours, local routes, and an active, hands-on work environment.

You will help keep production moving while delivering on customer needs. You will operate a day cab with a 48- or 53-foot trailer for deliveries about 75% of the time and support production 25%, plus forklift operation and safety training.

Qualifications

About The Role

Dexter in Winchester is looking for a dependable CDL Delivery Driver / Production Worker to split time between local deliveries (75%) and production work (25%). This is a hands-on role for someone who likes staying busy — driving and helping keep production moving. If you want steady weekday hours, local routes, and a job where you’re not stuck behind a desk, this is a solid opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Safely operate a day cab truck pulling a 48- or 53-foot Conestoga trailer on local delivery routes, representing approximately 75%–100% of weekly hours, based on customer delivery needs.
• When not completing customer deliveries, support daily production schedules by safely performing production-related work involving raw materials, components, and finished goods, representing up to approximately 25% of weekly hours.
• Operate a forklift and other material‑handling equipment (Forklift experience preferred — training provided)
• Follow all safety rules and company procedures
• Pitch in on other production or delivery tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid CDL Class A driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid medical card
• At least 12 months commercial experience driving
• Conestoga experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry up to 50lbs
• Forklift experience preferred (we’ll train the right person)
• Warehouse, production, or material handling experience preferred
