Dexter is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator in a hands-on, fast-paced warehouse environment in Cookeville, TN. You will work closely with the warehouse team, drivers, and office staff to ensure shipments are planned, loaded, and delivered correctly.

Ideal candidates have shipping experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to solve problems on the fly. The role offers a stable weekday schedule and opportunities to contribute to real operations.

Qualificações

• At least 2 years of shipping experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience scheduling loads, working with carriers, or coordinating freight.
• Clear communication—able to give direction and explain issues.
• Comfortable handling problems with employees or customers.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office 365).
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule and oversee outbound shipments and daily truck loads.
• Build daily shipping plans, set priorities, and keep freight moving on time.
• Coordinate large or special shipments to meet customer and order needs.
• Track shipments and fix issues when delays or problems come up.
• Keep accurate shipping records, logs, and schedules.
• Document customer issues and resolutions.
• Communicate with warehouse staff, drivers, and internal teams throughout the day.
• Help with training records and basic reporting.
• Follow all safety and quality standards.
• Handle other tasks or projects as needed to support operations.

About The Role
