Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking a licensed CDL driver for local deliveries in Michigan. You will ensure safe loading, perform ground and rooftop deliveries, and return home each night. The role emphasizes customer service, timely routes, and accurate documentation using phone photos and hand-written logs where required.

Requirements include a valid CDL Class A or B, ability to lift 75–100 pounds, and willingness to work on rooftops. Pre-employment and random drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe deliveries from dock to customer site.
• Perform ground and rooftop deliveries.
• Maintain friendly, professional interaction with customers.
• Adhere to delivery schedules and follow directives.
• Document every delivery with photos via phone system.
• Conduct load checks before leaving the branch and secure all materials.
• Coordinate with Delivery Material Handler for unloading locations.
• Complete logs and government paperwork accurately and timely.
• Provide customer with invoice and collect COD payments when applicable.
• Assist with warehouse duties as assigned (loading/unloading).
