Job summary

Colonial Materials, Inc. in Cary, NC is seeking a delivery driver to operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently, delivering freight while upholding DOT regulations and company policies. You will load and unload materials, load shipments, and provide world-class customer service on each site visit.

The role requires a valid CDL, minimum Class B, a clean MVR, and strong safety and teamwork mindset to support both residential and commercial deliveries in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Minimum Class B License; Class A strongly preferred.
• Clear three-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
• Strong safety, teamwork and customer service mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects and safely load/unload materials.
• Deliver materials to assigned area while prioritizing safety.
• Maintain records for State and Federal regulations.
• Report accidents and handle heavy materials up to 100+ lbs.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and sites.
