Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Willingness to work all shifts and weekends.
• Maintain a current DOT physical card.
• Minimum 2 years over-the-road commercial driving experience; dry bulk & pneumatic tank experience preferred.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Willing to travel to Canada and follow travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned delivery vehicle in clean, mechanically sound condition.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections per DOT guidelines and document in logbooks as required.
• Safely transport product to customer locations while complying with DOT and State Highway regulations.
• Communicate with customer receivers upon arrival and follow their unloading directions.
• Offload bulk loads or position van trailers for forklift unloading as directed.
• Report any vehicle damage or repair needs discovered during inspections or deliveries.
• Stay current with changing DOT regulations and ensure compliance.
• Safety & food safety trainings.
