Job summary

Colonial Materials, Inc. in Cary, NC is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle and deliver building materials to job sites, while providing excellent customer service.

You will load and unload cargo, inspect equipment, maintain compliance with DOT rules, and work as part of a team to meet deadlines. A High School diploma or GED, a valid CDL (Class B required, Class A preferred), and a clean MVR are required, with physical ability to lift up to 80–100

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Minimum Class B license; Class A strongly preferred.
• Clear three-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
• Ability to lift 80–100 lbs and perform loading/unloading.
• Excellent customer service and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects and ensure safe operation.
• Load/unload building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and deliver to job sites.
• Deliver materials while prioritizing safety and customer service.
• Maintain records for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Report accidents and demonstrate safety awareness.
