Job summary

Commonwealth Building Materials, Inc. is seeking an experienced delivery driver to safely operate a commercial vehicle, load and unload materials, and deliver to commercial and residential sites.

You will maintain compliance records and uphold safety standards while delivering world-class customer service. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, a valid CDL (Class B minimum, Class A preferred), and a clean 3-year MVR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required.
• Minimum Class B license; Class A strongly preferred.
• Clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) required.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-management, initiative and proactive work style.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects and ensure safe operation.
• Load/unload building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and deliver to job sites.
• Maintain records for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Report accidents involving driver or company equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional attitude.
