Job summary

Commonwealth Building Materials, Inc. – Troy is seeking a delivery driver to operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently, delivering materials to commercial and residential sites with strong customer service.

You will load/unload, maintain regulatory records, and report accidents, ensuring safety and accuracy at all times. The role requires a valid CDL, a minimum Class B license, and the ability to lift heavy materials.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Minimum Class B License, Class A strongly preferred.
• Must have a clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Must have knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation.
• Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload at job sites.
• Deliver materials to assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing safety.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment and ensure safe operation.
