DOMINION BLOCK LLC in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a CDL Delivery Driver (Class A or B) to safely deliver concrete block and masonry products to job sites and yards. You will follow DOT regulations, perform pre-trip inspections, load/unload using forklifts, and provide professional service while representing the company.

The role requires valid CDL, clean driving record, ability to lift up to 80 lbs, strong safety focus, and reliable work ethic.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT safety regulations and logbook requirements.
• Ability to operate forklifts (certification preferred; training may be provided).
• Strong attention to safety and detail when handling heavy and fragile products.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work in outdoor conditions year-round.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks (flatbeds, or other delivery vehicles) in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Load, secure, and unload block, hardscape, and masonry products using Moffett forklifts, or other approved methods to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Deliver materials to construction sites, contractors, and distributors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting and reporting any maintenance needs.
• Accurately complete delivery tickets, logs, and other required paperwork.
• Assist customers and yard personnel with unloading when necessary, ensuring safety and care of products.
• Adhere to all company safety standards, including PPE and OSHA/DOT guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicle and ensure it is always in safe operating condition.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and yard staff to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
• Support yard operations when not on delivery, including loading/unloading trucks and general labor duties.
