Job summary

Sterling Crane LLC in Baytown, TX is seeking a CDL Crane Operator to safely operate a range of cranes and hoists to support industrial lifting on our Baytown site. You will follow company procedures and customer requirements to perform lifts efficiently and accurately.

The role requires a minimum 3 years of crane experience, a Class A CDL, and a current NCCCO crane operator license, plus the ability to read technical drawings and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience with rough terrain cranes, carry decks, crawlers and mobile cranes.
• Must have Class A CDL and NCCCO Crane Operator license.
• Pass post-offer drug and physical screens.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and safety regulations.
• Good verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely operate a variety of specialized machinery per procedures and guidelines.
• Inspect ground conditions and overhead obstructions.
• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain logs and records of operational activities.
• Maintain clear visual and radio communications with ground operators.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
