Job summary

Sterling Crane LLC in Texas seeks experienced Crane Riggers to operate a range of cranes, ensuring safe setup and adherence to procedures. You will inspect ground conditions, perform routine maintenance, and keep detailed logs while coordinating with ground crews.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years with various cranes, a TWIC card, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to work overtime is essential; rigorous safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience with rough terrain cranes, carry decks, crawlers and mobile cranes.
• Current TWIC card.
• Post-offer drug and physical screens; background checks as required by company policy.
• Dependable and reliable with flexibility to work overtime.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, materials or instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to understand instructions and safety regulations.
• Must work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely operate a variety of specialized machinery per procedures and guidelines.
• Inspect ground conditions and overhead obstructions.
• Maintain equipment via daily inspections and routine maintenance.
• Maintain logs and records of operational activities.
• Maintain visual and radio communications with ground operators per best practices and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
