Job summary

NiSource is hiring for a position based near St. Clairsville, OH. The role requires living within 25 miles (30 minutes) of the reporting location and maintaining that residence while employed.

Pay is $40.10 per hour, with no relocation assistance offered. Primary duties include operating light earth-moving equipment and assisting with mains installation and repair. The ideal candidate will hold a Class A CDL, a valid driver's license, and be capable of passing physical tests, while showcasing

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate company vehicles.
• Must be capable of passing applicable physical capacity tests.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to follow through on assignments with limited direction.
• Requires the ability to organize and prioritize duties and responsibilities.
• Must be able to document records and understand written and oral communications.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge and/or experience of hand tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Operates light earth-moving equipment, for example backhoe, dump truck, side boom, and tamper.
• Duties include operating and maintenance of said equipment.
• Transportation of equipment and/or materials.
• Assists crew with installation and repair of mains and services.
• Other duties as assigned
