Job summary

LoJac Hydro Excavation is seeking a Combo/Jetter Operator to operate a combination vacuum and water jetting truck for sewer and storm drain maintenance. You will perform inspections, safety checks, and collaborate with crew members to complete emergency and routine assignments efficiently.

Responsibilities include jetting and vacuuming pipelines, equipment maintenance, logging, and responding to sewer backups or spills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL license (Class B) with Tanker Endorsement preferred.
• Clean MVR and ability to pass background and drug screen.
• Experience with combination vacuum/jetter trucks is preferred.
• Knowledge of sewer maintenance or hydro-excavation is a plus.

• Clean and clear sewer lines, storm drains, culverts, and pipelines with high-pressure water jetting.
• Remove debris, sludge, grease, and obstructions using vacuum equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Complete daily logs and service documentation; report issues as needed.
• Follow safety policies and procedures per OSHA and company rules.
• Respond to emergency sewer backups, spills, and maintenance calls as required.
• Coordinate with supervisors and crew to complete projects on schedule.

Job Summary

Operates a combination vacuum and water jetting truck to clean and maintain sewer systems, storm drains, pipelines, and related infrastructure. Performs routine equipment inspections, follows safety procedures, and works with crew members to complete maintenance and emergency response assignments efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate combination vacuum/jetter equipment safely and efficiently.
• Clean and clear sewer lines, storm drains, culverts, and pipelines using high-pressure water jetting.
• Remove debris, sludge, grease, and other obstructions with vacuum equipment.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues or repairs needed.
• Follow OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies and procedures.
• Complete daily logs, inspection reports, and service documentation.
• Respond to emergency sewer backups, spills, and utility maintenance calls as required.
• Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), preferably Class A or B
• Experience operating combination vacuum/jetter trucks preferred.
• Knowledge of sewer maintenance, hydro-excavation, or utility construction is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts when necessary.
• Understanding of underground utility systems.
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment.
• Experience with CCTV sewer inspection equipment (preferred).
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Exposure to dirt, wastewater, chemicals, and heavy equipment.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and climbing.

Qualifications For The Job

• Minimum High School Diploma
• Work in Construction industry 1 year (Preferred)
• CDL License-Minimum Class B with a Tanker Endorsement
• Clean MVR
• Must pass background and drug screen prior to hire
