Job summary

County Materials Family of Companies seeks a Ready-Mix Driver to safely move freshly mixed concrete from batching plants to job sites in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. You’ll monitor mix quality, maintain equipment, and provide excellent customer service to contractors and crews.

Requirements include a Class B or A CDL with air brakes, active DOT qualification, and a minimum of 2 years’ driving experience. Join a team-focused, safety-minded operation with a sign-on bonus after six months.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class B or A CDL with air brake endorsement.
• Maintain active DOT qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Safety-minded and willing to learn new procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ready-mix concrete from the batching plant to construction sites.
• Provide professional customer service while interacting with contractors and site personnel.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance on the truck and yard areas.
• Clean the Ready-Mix Truck between loads to ensure concrete quality.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections using an electronic tablet.
• Monitor concrete mix consistency during transport and prior to unloading.
• Accurately sign and manage delivery tickets and related paperwork.
