Job summary

Adams-Construction-Company in Roanoke, VA seeks a CDL-B driver to load, transport, and unload construction materials and equipment. You will follow delivery schedules, maintain trucks, perform minor repairs, and communicate with team to ensure timely, safe operations on site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Possess a Class “B” commercial license with proper endorsements.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Must have a valid DOT physical.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Minimum one year prior driving experience with references.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maneuver equipment to load, transport and unload construction materials and other related equipment.
• Follow schedule for pickup and delivery of materials and verify material types and weights.
• Communicate with other operators and truck drivers to ensure deliveries meet specifications and timetables.
• Keep truck clean and in good working order.
• Perform minor repairs and routine servicing to maintain safety and operation.
