Job summary

Austin Powder Company in Clinton, SC is seeking a CDL Class B Driver/Operator. You will drive, operate bulk equipment, and perform on-site product creation at customer locations. This full-time role includes a sign-on bonus and home nightly schedule.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, maintaining logs, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Outdoor work in all weather is required, with physical tasks and occasional early hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old per DOT.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL license (Class A/B) with clean driving record.
• Hazmat, tanker, and ATF explosive possessor qualifications preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform outdoor labor in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Maintains/operates vehicles and equipment in a safe, professional manner.
• Driving time 20–30% and remainder labor with hand tools and bulk materials.
• Loads/unloads materials and verifies loads against manifests.
• Keeps driving logs, safety checks, and hours tracked.
• Operates MMUs onsite to produce bulk blasting products.
• Pre- and post-trip inspections; report maintenance needs.
• Comply with safety and regulatory requirements for explosives.
