Job summary

Finetco, a family-owned construction design and supply company based in Coventry, Rhode Island, is seeking a CDL/Class B Driver - Moffett Truck Operator. You will transport materials to various job sites and operate a Moffett forklift with a focus on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, loading and unloading, maintaining logs, and coordinating with site supervisors to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B or Class A driver's license.
• Proven experience operating a Moffett truck or similar vehicle.
• Current DOT medical card
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class B and Moffett truck to transport materials to construction sites.
• Load and unload materials using the Moffett forklift, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members to coordinate schedules.
• Secure loads to ensure materials arrive intact.
• Report safety issues and maintain the vehicle inspection book; maintain DOT log for deliveries over 100 miles.
• Ensure annual federal vehicle inspection is completed and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
