Job summary

Kamco Supply Corp. of Boston is seeking a Moffett Driver to safely deliver building materials using a truck-mounted forklift.

This role blends CDL driving with offloading at job sites where dock access may not exist, and requires strong customer service. You will operate a CDL Class A or B vehicle, load and secure materials, perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain DOT logs, and communicate with dispatch and customers.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license.
• A1C Hoisting License.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass MVR checks.
• DOT pre-employment physical and drug screening.
• Experience operating forklifts; Moffett preferred.
• Strong safety awareness and equipment handling skills.
• Lift up to 50-100 pounds occasionally.
• Frequent bending and loading loads.
• Enter/exit truck cab and work safely on job sites.
• Subject to background checks and FMCSA Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL Class A or B vehicle to deliver materials to customer job sites.
• Operate a Moffett (truck-mounted forklift) to unload and place materials safely.
• Deliver materials to ground-level or designated job site areas requiring forklift.
• Load, secure, transport, and protect materials during transit.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of truck and Moffett equipment.
• Maintain delivery paperwork and DOT-compliant logs.
• Communicate with dispatch, warehouse teams, and customers regarding delivery instructions.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE use, and safe delivery zones.
• Assist with warehouse operations, staging, and loading when needed.
