Job summary

Builders FirstSource (BFS) is seeking a professional driver to deliver materials to customer sites in Colorado. The role involves operating vehicles over 26,000 pounds, loading/unloading, and ensuring on-time, undamaged deliveries while upholding safety standards.

You will maintain logs, verify orders, and act as a customer service liaison, addressing concerns and ensuring accurate deliveries. A Class B CDL and MVR check are required, with DOT medical card within five days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 21+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license and Class B CDL; strong safety record required.
• Must pass MVR check and obtain a DOT medical card within 5 days of request.
• Basic math and measurement skills; ability to read/speak English.
• Excellent customer service and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to specified sites and secure loads.
• Operate delivery vehicle and assist with loading/unloading as needed.
• Maintain logs of deliveries, mileage, and weights – verify against invoices.
• Serve as a customer service liaison and address concerns as they arise.
• Perform safety checks on vehicles and comply with DVIR/HOS requirements.
