Job summary

Builders FirstSource (BFS) seeks a professional driver to load, transport and deliver materials to customer sites in a safety‑driven environment. You will use hand held devices to verify orders, maintain logs, and ensure on‑time, accurate delivery while protecting products and customer property.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid license, ability to read/speak English, and the ability to pass MVR.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, and valid driver’s license.
Pass MVR report.
Obtain a DOT medical card within five days of request.
Have less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.
Basic math & measurement skills.
Ability to read and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

Loads and secures product inside delivery vehicle.
Delivers orders to customer sites and unloads materials safely and accurately.
Maintains delivery logs including amounts, weights, mileage and locations.
Acts as customer service liaison and resolves issues as needed.
Performs safety checks on delivery vehicles and uses hand held devices for compliance.
Operates forklift or non-motorized handling equipment as required.
