Central Pet Distribution is Hiring a CDL Class B Driver!

Do you love pets and enjoy driving? Our growing company is seeking experienced route delivery drivers to serve specialty pet stores, grocery stores, and retail accounts. Our Pet Distribution team works together to supply top brands like Nylabone, Kaytee, and Aqueon. If you are customer service focused, dependable, responsible, and committed to safety, this could be the job for you! Currently, we have a full-time opening working Tuesday through Friday.

Location

Based out of our Aurora, Colorado Distribution Center

Measures of Success

• Deliver products within a specific geographical area
• Arrange the delivery of returned goods
• Develop relationships with store personnel and owners
• Accurately handle checks or cash for COD deliveries
• Make deliveries using lift gates and electronic pallet jacks
• Practice safety measures when driving
• Provide excellent customer service
• Complete delivery documentation accurately

Ideal Candidate Attributes

• Two or more years of verifiable all-weather driving experience with a current, clean Class B CDL
• Experience with electric and manual pallet jacks, and lift gates
• Ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Responsible, reliable, and dependable
• Ability to lift and move cartons up to 60 pounds
• Energetic and personable, seeking a career opportunity
• Alert and safety-conscious

Working Conditions

• Work conducted in trucks, warehouse facilities, and at customer locations

Position Details

• Pay rate: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience
